Everyday Voice Care: The Wellness Guide for Singers, Actors, and Talkers

2nd edition now available!

When I started teaching voice, I gave out little handouts to my students about basic wellness. After awhile it became a little book, then a bigger book. Everyday Voice Care: The Wellness Guide is now widely used in performing arts programs, teacher-training, and voice clinics. The new edition has 40% new and updated material and a stronger emphasis on a holistic, biopsychosocial model of health, but it’s still designed for easy browsing, problem-solving, and generally making life better—healthier— for both voice users and teachers. The new edition is co-published by the National Association of Teachers of Singing and Bloomsbury Academics.
